The following fees apply for applicants who are employed by:

FLGISA member organizations   $1,050 
Nonmember local government / non-profits   $1,450
 All others  $1,650
If you or your organization wish to pay your program fees based on a unique fiscal schedule, make these arrangements by contacting Debby Kent.

Travel costs, purchase of assigned books, and the cost of registering for FLGISA events are not included in the program fee.

Cancellations or Transfers/Substitutions Once the program begins, there can be no substitutions or refunding of registration fees. Completion of all work is a requirement for certification, and costs will have been incurred on your behalf during the program.

Make-up work opportunities are available at no additional cost if you are unable to complete the program during the cycle for which you applied. If program work is not completed during the following class year, you will be required to reapply for a subsequent class year, pay the full registration fee for that year and start the certification program from the beginning.
 

Cancellation fees offset the program's administrative costs. Fees are as follows:

  • Cancellations requested between the application due date and notification of selection: Fee will be refunded minus a $50 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations requested after acceptance letter through 14 days prior to the program start date: Fee will be refunded minus a $250 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations requested beyond 14 days prior to program start date: No refunds are provided in this circumstance. Your selection will have resulted in the program incurring costs associated with your participation, including administrative, materials, workshop coordination costs, and the loss of other applicants' opportunity to participate.


Transfers/Substitutions
 can be made at no additional cost when the substitute meets the program criteria and passes successfully through the application and selection process. If the substitute applicant is not selected for participation, cancellation fees will be assessed accordingly. To allow sufficient time to update program records and review substitute applications, the deadline for substitution is 14 days prior to the program start date.
